KAT

Hey, I’m Kat!

I’ve been riding horses since 2006 and I don’t plan on ever stopping!

When I am not spending the season competing, I spend most of my time training horses. I enjoy giving a new start and a new life to horses that were given up on. I have saved horses from slaughter and ridden and trained them when they were too dangerous for other trainers to ride. I have lots of personal horses, but Maizie is my young rescue and my baby, we would both take a bullet for each other!

I ride both english and western, but primarily english. I train horses in all disciplines since horses deserve to go in the discipline they enjoy the most.

I was a Yucaipa rodeo queen for 2020 and 2021, introducing their annual rodeo and leading some parades, proudly carrying the Yucaipa flag as actual royalty. I plan to compete for a couple more titles so you’ll see me around the rodeos.

I have been riding english my entire life. I enjoy riding in the hunter ring. In 2019, I drove down to New Mexico, where I was the regional champion, qualifying myself for the Canadian nationals. A few weeks later, I drove up to Canada for nationals where I was top 5 in the hunter ring.

I used to ride a lot of drill team and have even led one. I run flags at rodeos, get invited to guest ride on drill teams, and have ridden in a handful of parades.

I have also ridden and some lightly shown in dressage, jumpers, halter, western pleasure, and I really enjoy sorting.

I dedicate a lot of my time now to breeding world champion pleasure and halter horses.

TINA

After introducing my daughter, Kat, to riding, it started my own journey with horses.

As she grew with the horses, so did I. Lessons, turned into shows and into horse ownership.

It has been a wonderful journey and I am blessed to pass on my passion and knowledge to the next generation of riders. I specialize in young and beginner riders.
